Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show was a performance that Buffalo Bill conducted to entertain people in different towns and cities. Sitting Bull and Annie Oakley both performed in this Wild West themed performance. This show was very popular in the United States. Over just a couple of years the show had as many as 1,200 performers that Buffalo Bill had found. The performances consisted of different historical events that the performers conducted throughout the Wild West Show.

Some of the performances included different Indians who acted out different actions that Indians do in their daily lives. The show also acted out stagecoach robberies, buffalo hunting, and the riding of the Pony Express. On the date May 9, 1887 Buffalo Bill's Wild West show opened in London so international audiences could have the chance to see what the Wild West life was like.
