Overview of Sitting Bull's Life
Sitting Bull was a very important Indian chief in American History. He was an important asset in the Battle of Little Bighorn and Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. Sitting Bull was a member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. He was such a good member that he has a monument at the Standing Rock Reservation. He died a very tragic death by being captured and then later killed by the Indian Police because they saw the Ghost Dance as a threat.

Sitting Bull has said many quotes during his life. Some of his popular ones include “As individual fingers we can easily be broken, but all together we make a mighty fist.” and “The white man knows how to make everything, but he does not know how to distribute it.” These quotes were only two of his many quotes that he stated throughout his life.
